Manage or cancel Shimwise Pro

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they’re managed in your Apple Account:

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Shimwise.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription (or choose a different plan).

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and after that everything you’ve made stays viewable and exportable. You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Restore a purchase

On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account and open the upgrade screen in Shimwise, then tap Restore Purchases.

Export your data

In Shimwise, open Settings and choose Export data. You get your clients, price book, quotes and invoices as CSV files, plus every quote PDF and signed contract, in a single file you can save to Files, AirDrop or email. Export is free and always available, with or without Pro.

Connect Stripe for deposits

The first time a quote asks for a deposit, Shimwise offers to connect Stripe. You create or sign in to your own Stripe account on Stripe’s site, and payments go straight there. Stripe’s standard processing fees apply; Shimwise adds nothing. Payout timing, holds and disputes are handled in your Stripe Dashboard.

A quote is stuck in the outbox

Quotes sent with no signal wait in the outbox and go out automatically when a connection returns. If one stays there after you’re back online, open it and tap Send again. If you’ve used your 5 free sends, the quote waits until you start Pro.

How a customer cancels a contract

Customers can cancel during the cooling-off period for the property’s state or province:

Shimwise notifies the contractor straight away. The contractor then refunds any deposit within the time the law requires. More in Information for customers.

Refunds

Subscription refunds are handled by Apple, and deposit refunds by the contractor. See Refunds.
